Daniel T. Borkert, M.D.
Dr. Daniel Borkert attended Tennessee Temple University and Bob Jones University before completing his undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Colorado. He received his medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
After finishing his residency in Family Medicine at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, he began private practice in Lakewood, Colorado, where he practiced for 19 years. He joined University Medical Associates in September 2006. He is board certified in Family Medicine, with a special interest in preventative medicine and Christian counseling.
Dr. Borkert and his wife, Marne, have eight children. He enjoys being active with his family as they spend time camping, hiking, hunting, and gardening. He is involved in writing, and public speaking, and he has blended his medical and ministry interests through various avenues, including missionary trips, camp ministries, and counseling.
